Caldwell, NJ Kicks Off their Downtown Revitalization Program
On June 7th, nearly 100 Caldwell residents, merchants and property owners focused their discussion on making downtown a better place that is more relevant to their shopping and dining needs. The evening began with Dr. Thomas Keen, a professor at Caldwell College, summarizing his findings about the shopping potential derived from the staff, students and visitors to the College. Tom Litke followed with a lively session focusing on volunteer activity and its benefits for the downtown. Nearly 50 people responded to the survey as well as expressed interest in sharing their skills. June 22nd and 23rd initiated the training sessions and working groups are already forming; the next meetings will be held July 8th-10th and the Caldwell Downtown Alliance is on its way!
