Downtown DuboisWyomorado: Cowboy Up!

For an entirely different view of commercial revitalization, Wander Group spent a week in western Wyoming and northern Colorado meeting with colleagues and learning community development approaches in rural settings. The least populated state in the USA, Wyoming’s communities highlight their natural beauty and cowboy lifestyle for tourists that want to explore beyond Yellowstone; for example, regional marketing campaigns take on a greater role in towns with small population but have numerous landscapes for varied recreational uses.

This working tour of communities would not be complete without expressing our appreciation to: Tony of Laramie; Pam and Christy of Rawlins; Heather of Green River; Mindy of Pinedale; and June of Dubois. This trip also included visits to Casper and Jackson Hole, and concluded in Colorado with visits to Ft. Collins and Denver.
