Visit to Trenton a Success
It was more than a bit chilly on January 30th and 31st, but that didn’t stop more than 60 practitioners from attending the quarterly Downtown Revitalization Institute, hosted by New Jersey’s Department of Community Affairs. This 2-day session focused on organizational issues common to small organizations focused on downtown management. Held at Thomas Edison State College, session topics included: Leadership Communications, Volunteer Recruiting and Management, Fund Development and Organizational Identity. Speakers included Kent Burnes and Bill McLeod; Wander Group hopes to be invited back in three months to assist with the next DRI training!
