Small Business Assistance Program - Washington, DC. 2008-2009
Designed and coordinated WRAP5: the District of Columbia's Ward 5 Retail Assistance Program. Project responsibilities included: onsite training covering Basic Business Skills, Customer Services and Market Analysis. Advised locally-owned and operated businesses by providing marketing research, business plans, and promotional materials. Facilitated Construction, Financial Management, Real Estate and Legal Services to more than 30 clients.

Business Improvement District (BID) Feasibility Study - Mount Holly, NJ 2009
Completed analysis to establish consensus about revitalization issues and determined whether issues should be addressed by a BID response. Determined the level of funding necessary to effectively respond. Study focused on loss of competitiveness and possible benefits. Performed database development, community relations and outreach, and assessment of economic feasibility. Assessment included 50+ interviews, surveys, presentations, photo documentation and market analysis.

Organizational Assessment - Minneapolis, MN 2009
Performance reviews for neighborhood association. Evaluation and presentation included: Staffing, Board Development, Revitalization Strategies, Organizational Structure, Financial Management, Fundraising, Programming, Work Planning, Sustainable Operations, Volunteer Recruitment and Management.

Façade Improvement Programs - Communities throughout - Washington, DC 2007-current
Served as Project Manager for rehabilitation of properties. Defined vision and organized property owners by engaging local leadership in culturally-sensitive areas with buildings of clouded title. Assembled project teams with local government, preservation-based design firms, arts-based nonprofits, local contractors and community members. Over $1,000,000 raised from government and developers in order to fund rehabilitation and stabilize both heritage and cultural ties in weakening communities.

Organizational Development Training - Chicago, IL 2009
Presented at national conference on Business Improvement District (BID) feasibility and its relationship to community-based organizations. Also presented to audiences of up to 300 practitioners at national and statewide conferences in New Orleans, Washington, DC, Seattle, and Trenton. On a 1-5 evaluation scale for presentation with 1 representing the highest score, received an average rating of 1.2. Ranked in top 4% of all presenters.

Market Analysis/Business Recruitment and Retention Strategy - Capitol Hill, Washington, DC 2008
Addressed business community concerns that included defining target customer base, market position, and root cause of losing of anchor stores and entrepreneur-driven businesses. Developed strategic road map for business mix that encompassed working with stakeholders to understand growth and quality of life preferences. Identified market conditions and evaluated business opportunities.

Strategic Action Plans - Dedham, MA 2008
Developed strategies that prioritized revitalization activities including implementation of key projects. Plans outlined specific month-by-month goals, strategies and action items to be completed by staff, committees and volunteers. Project responsibilities included roles, timelines, priorities, and success measures.
